What Is Sursum Corda?

Lift Up Your Hearts!
Sursum Corda is a nationwide initiative to foster the spiritual lives of the Catholic adults (aged 18 - 35) within the apostolates of the Institute of Christ the King - Sovereign Priest.

Rosary at The Old Cathedral of St. Louis
Sursum Corda is latin for "Lift Up Your Hearts"! There is nothing more profound and encouraging than Catholic friendship - lifting each other up in our Catholic Faith, encouraging others to strive for sanctity in our everyday lives, and ultimately to extend the reign of Christ in society.  This is done through the use of the Liturgy, faith discussions guided by the Canons of the Institute, various fun activities, and charity work throughout the year.

Sursum Corda - St. Louis meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month and is based at St. Francis de Sales Oratory, an apostolate of the Institute of Christ the King - Sovereign Priest.  Attendees come from far and wide (Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana) for our monthly events!
